What do the cohesion charts mean?

Our cohesion chart represents the percentage of votes where the MEP is in agreement with the European Parliament, his/her own political group, the other MEPs of his/her country, his/her own national party. To calculate it, out of the number of total votes where the MEP was present and voting, we count on how many votes the MEP was aligned with.

The policy area cohesion chart is the percentage of votes related to the same policy area where the MEP is in agreement with the European Parliament, his/her own political group, the other MEPs of his/her country, his/her own national party. To calculate it, out of the number of total votes where the MEP was present and voting for that policy area, we count on how many votes the MEP was aligned with.
