We are an independent, Europe-based and diverse team. Some of us are geek souls, others are EU professionals, but we all agreed that there was something missing and that an improved use of technology could help. This became assistEU. Forever curious and oriented towards constant improvement, our mission is to empower other EU professionals in their everyday job.
assistEU was born in 2019 from the idea of a group of French friends who, wondering how it was possible to improve the work of the European Parliament assistants, decided to exploit the potential of artificial intelligence applied to politics. From an idea born during a chat over a glass of wine, today assistEU keeps growing and aims to become the essential tool for all EU professionals in Brussels and all over Europe.
WHAT WE BELIEVE IN
THE POWER OF FEEDBACK
We work everyday to make a platform tailored to the needs of our users. This is why, to us, listening to their feedback is essential. We believe that improvement is possible only when we are open-minded and ready to implement new ideas. Yes, even those which seem impossible to realise.
THE VALUE OF PEOPLE
We are people at the service of people. Before everything, it is the human connections that make our everyday job worth it. We believe that being a diverse team is extremely valuable and that differences, here at assistEU, are not flaws but blessings.
INNOVATION AT THE SERVICE OF DEMOCRACY
We advocate for a fair and transparent use of data, allowing an in-depth analysis of policies and guaranteeing the accountability of those in power, thus ensuring that the democratic institutions remain at the service of citizens. We believe in a positive use of innovation and technology, which allow us to provide this service in the most efficient way.
QUALITY AND RELIABILITY OF INFORMATION
Delivering precise, timely and quality information is essential to us. We believe that these are the elements that are behind every efficient and successful decision making process. We want to offer access to a reliable platform to those who have the responsibility of shaping policies for all European citizens
